Fathers Day Festivities

We had a a wonderful Fathers day this year. The kids and I started off with art projects with our favorite neighbor's on Thursday to make a couple hand made gifts. Cement and a two year old=disaster..don't try-it! Then on Saturday we had my "Rock Star" Brother-in-Law, Mark's surprise 40Th birthday party! We had a lot of fun..Jack had so many kids to terrorize and tackle. On Sunday we woke up, had a small breakfast, Big Daddy opened his gifts (Which consist of a cement garden stone complete with hand prints and "We love you Daddy" writing, a handmade painting that was framed and a new pair of sunglasses.)Then we went to church and met up with both my Brother-in-laws and their families for lunch at Roscoe's in Chino Hills. Then it was off to our annual Seafood extravaganza with many wonderful friends and family...consisting of lobster, crab-legs, scallop & shrimp scampi, cheesy potatoes, and much more..I think there were fire string beans and corn, but I was definitely not going to waste any space on veggies. :P We lounged by the pool with cocktails and waited on the Dads every whim.

To my husband.....When I first met you I immediately knew you were the one, in part because I knew what a wonderful Father you would someday be. When I told you I was pregnant with Jackson I know it was such a shock, for both of us. We were so scared and excited of the days ahead and now look at us. We have two healthy, beautiful, smart children and hopefully another one in the next year to come.(maybe, if you play your cards right:) You are such a great Dad. You always put us first no matter what. You are such a great communicator, much better than I am and I am so thankful for that. You are involved in every aspect of your kids life, such a hands on Dad. I feel We have grown so much as a couple and even more as parents. We have done something right to be blessed with this wonderful life God has given us. We want you to know always, not just on Fathers Day, that we love you so much and are truly better people because of you. Happy Fathers Day:)
