Halloween Parade!

This morning Jackson had his costume parade at his school. He has been looking forward to wearing his costume to school all week, so he was more than thrilled when I told him to go put it on this morning. Elle on the other hand has been sick all week and in addition to that seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. She so nicely dumped a whole bowl of cocoa puffs sharks cereal into the bathtub which started my morning off quite nicely. They happen to still be in the bath tub as I write this..Don't judge me.haha! Considering all that I am so so happy Jackson had a great morning at school!

 

 

My beautiful Mom came to cheer Jackson Spider Man on as well....Bearing gifts Starbucks in hand. My fav! I'm a caffeine junkie! You can also tell by Elle's face what kind of a morning it was. 

Elle is almost ready for preschool too! We just have to wait exactly six more months and work on mastering the potty thing. Now when we take Jackson to school she cries because she wants to stay and learn. When we pick him up she runs over to sit next to Jackson and waits for the teacher to excuse her as well. She is one smart cookie! Today was no exception of course. We were able to hang out in Jackson's class a little longer than normal and she had a blast, but of course when it was time to leave she threw a stage 5 temper tantrum! Ugh! She cried the whole way home and then threw herself on the floor when we went in side. She went in time out for not behaving and then I played school with her. After the reality check time out, attention, and playing school she had a whole new lease on life. Completely a different child, amazing!

 

 Picture over load, I know! I hope you all have a great Halloween weekend! I know we will because we will be celebrating Elle's 2nd birthday and my big 25 birthday this weekend! Man I'm old..haha! Much love!
