LA Zoo

I have come to the conclusion I was deprived as a child. (Sorry Mom:) I have never been to the Zoo! So on Saturday off too the LA Zoo we were. It was such a last minute decision. I put the kids down for a nap and sat on the couch with my husband, he looked at me and said,"Want to go to the Zoo when the kids wake up?" I was so excited! (for the Zoo..I know, I'm strange) When Jackson woke up from his nap...I told him we were going to see some really cool animals. Then he said in that cute lispy little boy voice "Ma-meal-moless". Priceless! I kept asking him where we were going so that I could just hear him say it. I know this is so off the topic, but this is really funny. On Friday I put Jackson in time-out, ( I don't even remember why) As soon as he gets in time-out he says over and over..."Sorry, Mommy!" If I don't respond to him right away he starts screaming "Mommy!!!" Well I went Super Nanny on his little bottom and I tried ignoring him...Jackson turned the corner into the kitchen where I was standing, looked straight into my eyes, and screamed at the top of his little lungs," Ambbbbuuurrr!!" I just about died. I didn't even know he knew my real name. Back to the Zoo...My favorite "Ma-meal-moless" was definitely the Meer Kats..Here is just a few photos I captured during our little family outing
