I love my husband!!

Our 3 year wedding anniversary is right around the corner and I can't help but notice how extra wonderful my husband has been lately. Last week I was sick with some womanly problems..not fun! Dan helped out with the kids so much last week, he took Jack to work one day and then to his Moms one night. Fabulous!! Jackson loves it at my Mother-in-laws because there is no time out and he gets her undivided attention at all times. Which is really heard for me to do when you have a nursing infant and you don't feel your best. Then yesterday when he was at work he called a couple of times just to check in and see what I was doing..he does that normally, but it usually goes unnoticed. When he got home we had dinner, did out nightly routine with the kidlets. Jack went to bed Elle nursed then Dan said, "Hey I want to take you somewhere?..I was like "What, go somewere?" I thought very out of the ordinary. I told my Mom I thought he wanted to buy my an anniversary gift, but wanted to make sure I liked it first. Instead he took me to this place called Crepes de Paris for some dessert and hot chocolate. It was a perfect night, the weather was great. We sat outside and talked for like an hour about everything. Our life, our children, how far we have come as a couple in the 5 years we have been together. I felt that little love tingle in my stomach like when we were dateing as we walked away holding hands and kissing. ( I am so lucky I have my mom a couple of days to help out with the house and the kids..very thankful for her.. so we could just leave like that. I did'nt want anybody to think that we just leave our kids home alone:)

I got Dan a really nice whatch for our anniversary. I gave it to him yesterday and he really liked. I set the bar high and give it to him early so he feels like he has to trump me..haha j/k

Our anniversary is next wednesday and we are off to Las Vegas for a couple of days with our friends Ryan and Jackie. So excited!

  1. Ok, that is so sweet. Sometimes spontaneous trips to get dessert or go somewhere are the most special. I hope you guys have an awesome time in Vegas!
